Improving Yourself

Improving Yourself

a) Developing abilities:
If you want to develop your abilities first of all, you have to answer these questions.

1) Is ability innate?
2) Can you improve your abilities that you can not have?
3) When will our abilities be improved?
4) What can be done to improve?

My answers:
1) Yes ability is innate. It comes with the genes. Experiments with the twins show the reality.
2) Yes you can improve but not in professionally way. For example you can learn how to play piano but you can not play piano in Royal Philarmony.
3) Born to death.
4) Fourth question is the key for the rest three question. You have to find your quality or endowment given to man by God; a preĆ«minent and special talent or aptitude; power; faculty; as, the gift of wit; a gift for speaking. Then you are going to chose your goal. Scout Reed says “This one step – choosing a goal and sticking to it – changes everything.” This is absolutely true. But do not forget Mike Tyson, “Everyone has a plan - until they get punched in the face.” To chose your goal i think some tests may help you. Example: Try this test.

Next step you have to determine your main way, for example; to improve your English writing ability, you have to practice writing everyday. To improve your written and spoken English ability, you have to ...

Then you need self-confidence;

It can be done both physicaly and mentaly.

Physicaly,
• Dress Sharp: Clothes effect people directly. It changes feelings about yourself in goodway.
• Walk Faster: Peoples’ walk tell everything. Is it slow? tired? painful? Or is it energetic and purposeful? Walking fast make you important person.

And mentally,
• Sit in the front row: In schools, offices, and public assemblies around the world, people sit at the back of the room. Most people prefer that for their fear. By deciding to sit in the front row, you can get over your fear.
• Speak up: By making an effort to speak up in public discussion, you are going to be more confident in your own thoughts.

The match point is believing yourself but not believe other peoples’ thoughts.
