Improving Your Willpower

c)Improving Your Willpower:

Being successful is mostly about gaining control over external world. But it's difficult to do that until you've got control over the internal world of yourself.
But how can people gain control over internal world. Most important thing is self-control skill. Self-controll skill is like other skills. If you practice, it developes like tennis, or football. Here ara few examples to improve you willpower.

•Drop a Bad Habit, Small or Big: Few years ago i was smoking cigarettes. It affected my health so badly. And i deceided to quit smoking cigarettes. At first it is too hard to quit smoking but now i am healhty and so happy about this decision. This is an example of Drop a Bad Habit, Small or Big. Othe examples include giving up snack after midnight or drop alcohol. Drop something is great self-discipline exercise.

•Try to Learn Something That Boring But Useful: Most people keep away from boring things although they are useful. Reading books that includes science, studying lesson, listening classic music etc. Skills like grammar, punctuation, financial literacy, technical skills. At least one skill can be improved by you. Go to proximate library and pick book on the topic you choose and read it as fast as you can.

•Do Something You Should Do Everyday: Perhaps for you it's regular exercise, household chores, or getting up earlier, studying lesson, ironing clothes. For these activities set time everyday. And make rule, for everyday you miss you activity, you will doubled your activity yesterday. In this way both you can improve your self-dicipline and your skill about your choosen activity.

•Set Yourself an Achievable, But Difficult Goal with a Date for Reaching It:
Build yourself a willpower game around a particular goal. Perhaps it could be giving up smoking, losing a certain amount of weight, or reading a particular number of books. Organized events such as fun-runs are also good. Make sure it's something that's reachable with a high level of certainty (such as quitting smoking) as long as your will holds. In other words, no external events other than your own self-discipline should be able to have a major impact.Developed a single-minded focus on achieving that goal by the set date. Don't let yourself pass the day without reaching it.

•Do Everything Yourself: Most people in life have responsibility such as paying the bills, emptying the dishwasher, or starting a college assignment. You know that you have to do it but, you always wait for the last day. Don’t do that for your good. Do your work from begining to end. Don't allow yourself to wait for even five minutes before getting started.
